What do you do when you don't get a role in a play?

I really wanted to get the role of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, but they gave the part to a 9 year old because they said they wanted a little girl to play it. I did really well in my callback etc., but I was too old for the role. What should I do to keep my spirits up about not getting the part? Any tips?
