I live in Philadelphia PA and am looking to adopt a puppy/young dog?

If anyone (even kind of) local needs a home for a puppy/young dog, I would be more than happy to take it off your hands. I'm trying to avoid going to a shelter for it, and i am unwilling to go to an animal store because they are wrong, cruel and expensive. I just feel as though spending (even at a shelter) 100-200 dollars is not a good idea.
