Is Chiron a little too soft on the demigods?

... I don't think so. The Romans make you not want to fight for them. Everyone needs a little break, especially if you're a demigod. We have to fight for our lives, and camp is supposed to be a fun, safe way to do that. The Romans are too harsh, but Chiron gets it. We need to be cared for, to know that someone is there for us, and the romans don't have that. I think Chiron does his job perfectly.
